The first 100% Biodegradable Collection, collecting the best stories from issues 1 – 6 of the quarterly digital sci-fi anthology is available now. Whether it’s giant rampaging rodents, paranormal ice cream salesmen, hard boiled detectives, adulterous martians or kung-fu kitchen antics you’re after, there’s a little something for everyone.
The collection features 30 strips from professional creators, indie regulars and promising newcomers across the UK and abroad, including Jim Alexander (2000AD, Judge Dredd Megazine), Jon Haward (Judge Dredd, Tales Of The Buddha), Neill Cameron (The Pirates of Pangaea, Mega Robo Bros), Graeme Neil Reid (2000AD, Meanwhile), Paul H. Birch (TOXIC, Creepy Kofy Movie Time), Paul Harrison-Davies (Boom! Studios Zombie Tales, Blank Slate’s Nelson), Tony Suleri (Slumdroid, Bulletproof) and many more. It’s available at a reduced price from Drive-Thru until 1st January 2016.
In related news, with the comic anthology’s page count increasing to 36 pages next issue, the team now have space to throw back covers into the mix.
The first people to step up to the challenge for Issue 11 of the title are Kek-W (2000AD, Cap’n Dinosaur), Lukasz Kowalczuk (Vreckless Vrestlers, Something Wicked) and Ken Reynolds (Sliced Quarterly, Octal) with this marvellous B-Movie offering (which also hints at a strip Kek and Lukasz are busy creating for Issue 12).
Issue 10 of 100% Biodegradable is still on sale featuring: A bunch of ill prepared truckers tear their way across Hells Highway in an attempt to bring aid to those who can afford it, a lone soldier battles invaders and isolation, two workshy layabouts face off against the psychotic android scourge known as The Milk Machine, the return of Jim Alexander and Jon Haward’s popular detective series ‘Sideburns’, and Travis Wilson crosses the hazardous mutant filled wasteland of post apocalyptic London in the fourth instalment of John Freeman (Crucible, Judge Dredd Megazine) and Brett Burbridge’s Death Duty series.
