There are over 250 comic lots in the latest Phil-Comics auction over on ebay, ending soon. On offer are plenty of great British and US comics, some first issues, and original artwork by The Dandy‘s Jack Prout and Film Fun legend, Terry Wakefield.

Comic art on offer this time out is from Jack Prout – art created for the 1965 Dandy annual – and three illustrations by Terry Wakefield for Film Fun, all possibly published in 1957, based on information on the back of the art.

He’s the writer of comics such as Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs”, with Dave Hailwood.
