The National Poetry Library and the London Graphic Novel Network will be presenting a collaborative workshop next month at the Royal Festival Hall, exploring how the expression of poetry can be paired with the art of comics.
The aim is to create an anthology of poetry comic strips in a little over an hour, expressing what path the UK should take in a post-Brexit world.
Led by poet Chrissy Williams (Bear, Bloodaxe Books) and comics artist Alison Sampson (Winnebago Graveyard, Image Comics), the workshop involves a mix of collage and illustration and is suitable for all, even for those with little to no experience with art or poetry.
