Classic free gifts galore on offer in latest Phil-Comics auction

There are 340 vintage comic auction listings in the latest Phil-Comics eBay auction – including plenty of free gifts of yesteryear.

They include Free Gifts offered with weekly comics such as Buster, Cheeky and more – and comic club badges for titles such as Lion and Robin, too.

Run by Phil Shrimpton, the award-winning Phil-Comics specialises in vintage comics and related items such as annuals, holiday specials, free gifts and original artwork.

This pink flyer came as a centre page pull out in a Beano comic in Feb 1961 and promoted the launch of Victor, DC Thomson’s new war comic of the 1960s. It showcases a variety of characters and the free gifts given away in the first two issues
