This November will see the release of EXTERMINART!, a Dalektable large format hardback book packed with the Dalek art of Andrew Skilleter, and we have a sneak peek for you.
Accompanied by a Foreword and commentary by author John Peel, EXTERMINART! features over 50 pieces of Andrew’s Doctor Who Dalek art, produced between 1979 and 2020. It includes all the classics, plus numerous previously unpublished private commissions.
EXTERMINART! – Andrew’s second book of collected artwork – also includes unique in-progress images and roughs showing Andrew Skilleter’s working methods with commentaries by Andrew himself and the fans who commissioned the pieces, giving an intimate insight into the process of his art.
Andrew Skilleter’s professional Doctor Who art dominated the 1980s and continued into the 1990s. It included over 40 covers for the Target Books Doctor Who novelisations, the much loved Who Dares Poster Prints, official Doctor Who calendars, the legendary Cybermen book (with Cyber Leader David Banks), Doctor Who BBC VHS covers and the first Doctor Who Virgin New Adventures covers. His artwork has previously been collected in Blacklight, celebrating 15 years of his Doctor Who art published by Virgin in 1995.
