Currently promoting the platform across social media Zines.co.uk is being billed as a new, dedicated UK marketplace for independent artists and publishers who create and sell their own zines.

Given the current difficulties for small publishers brought about by uncertainty at TG Jones, this may well be a distribution node you might want to check out as an independent creator, although there’s a new service from Get My Comics nearing launch, from the publishers of SHIFT, that will be well worth investigating, too.
The team behind Zines.co.uk are looking to provide a focused space to showcase your work and offer it for sale to an audience that values print, ideas, and independent voices.
The service soft launched back in April, inviting artists who have registered interest to join as one of 50 founding members on a commission-only model. The full launch will take place soon, on 1st June 2026.
“This is not a general marketplace,” they emphasise. “It is built specifically for zines and the culture around them.
“You stay in control of your work; you present your zines your way; you connect directly with readers who actively seek independent publishing.”
All genres are welcome: Photography, Illustration, Poetry, Politics, Music, Culture and Experimentation.
“If you make zines and want a serious platform built around your practice, register early. Help shape the direction, standards, and future of independent publishing in the UK.”
