(Updated with comic credits): Egmont UK’s new All About Sonic the Hedgehog magazine lands in newsagents and other outlets today.
The magazine, aimed at children aged between six and ten, is available for £3.99 and contains facts, games, puzzles, things to make, and two comic strips, as well as interviews with Sonic and Dr. Eggman.
Although Egmont previously originated its own Sonic comic strips for its previous Sonic comic, the material in this new title is sourced from Archie Comics Sonic Universe title, the two strips written by Ian Flynn with pencils by Tracy Yardley on both, with inks by Terry Austin on one and Jim Amash on the other. Matt Herms and Josh Ray, who runs Stingray Grafik Wurks, provide colour and some lettering.
The 36 page All About Sonic the Hedgehog also includes tips and cheats for the new Sonic Lost World game, two giant posters, a disc-shooter and 100 stickers.
“We’ve really enjoyed working with Sega on bringing this magazine to market and have a great package for Sonic fans, bringing the gaming adventures to life on the printed page.” said Siobhan Galvin, publisher, Egmont Magazines.
