Eudicom, a pan-European Creative Europe project lead by digital comics platforms Izneo, is to host a free webinar for publishers on comics digitalisation on Wednesday 22nd September 2021, from 2.00pm to 3.30pm CET.
This webinar is part of a Capacity Building program aimed at supporting comics publishers interested in digital distribution of comics.
This first webinar will focus on two key topics. First, how to develop a digital portfolio; and second, which technology is best to go digital?
The webinar is part of a series tailored to comics publishers’ needs, in which you will be able to learn new skills and discuss with experts your digital comics sales strategy. Participation is free of charge.
Eudicom is a pan-European Creative Europeproject lead by Izneo, which is the leading European streaming platform for comics (including manga, graphic novels, Bandes dessinées), and is supported by the Federation of European Publishers, with local publishers’ associations from different European countries.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
