Titan has just teased its new Horizon Zero Dawn series – co-created by Anne Toole, one of the writers of the best-selling PlayStation 4 Horizon Zero Dawn game, with artwork by fan-favourite artist Ann Maulina.
Set on a far future Earth, where nature has reclaimed the planet but massive, animal-like machines now rule the land, the Horizon Zero Dawn game follows the story of Aloy, an extraordinary young woman whose quest to solve the riddle of her mysterious origins takes her deep into the ruins of the ancient past.
Titan’s new comic takes place after the events of the game as Talanah, a strong and determined hunter, struggles to find purpose after her trusted friend Aloy disappears. When a mysterious threat emerges in the wilds, she sets out to hunt and to defeat it, only to learn that a whole new breed of killer machines stalk the land!

Horizon Zero Dawn artist Ann Maulina hails from Indonesia, and currently works as a freelance game and concept artist but began working on comic in her spare time, including projects such as the hugely popular crowdfunded Glow, and her own beautifully drawn, award-winning web comic, Raruurien, initially published as one of three comics in Kroma Comic Anthology in 2016.

Set to debut from comic book retailers worldwide and on digital devices on 5th August 2020, Horizon Zero Dawn #1 features fantastic covers for fans to collect including Stanley ‘Artgerm’ Lau, Peach Momoko and Loish.
Also, don’t miss out on Horizon Zero Dawn FCBD #0 – an exclusive lead-in story to the ongoing comic series, which will be available from your local comic shop on 22nd July 2020.
