(Updated 9th March) Gotham will return to Channel 5 in the UK with what the station is calling a “special feature-length episode” in the week beginning 14th March 2015, with C5 promising to reveal the exact return date “soon” on Facebook and Twitter.
[UPDATE: Gotham will resume on Monday 16th March 2015]
It looks as though “feature length” means the station will re-show Episode 10, “Lovecraft”, back to back with “Rogues Gallery” as part of the show’s relaunch, with the series then running without a break to the season finale.
In “Lovecraft”, James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) is reassigned to duty at Arkham Asylum after Selina leads Bruce Wayne on a perilous journey through Gotham to evade the assassins after her.
In “Rogues’ Gallery”, Gordon’s assignment at Arkham Asylum gets off to a rocky start when the murder of a guard ignites an investigation, leading him to meet Dr. Leslie Thompkins. Meanwhile, Cobblepot continues to build his army and Cat happens upon a sickly Ivy alone in an alley, and seeks refuge in Gordon’s penthouse in order to get her back on her feet.
Shown in the US in January, the episode introduces Morena Baccarin as Leslie Thompkins who, in the comics, is a family friend of the Waynes who helped Alfred raise Bruce. She knows his secret and disapproves of his activites as Batman but will always do her best to help fix him up.
Earlier episode of the hit Batman prequel show are currently being shown on 5USA.
