The long-running Steve Dillon: Preacher, Punisher and Dredd Exhibition, curated by his family, is currently running at Stevenage Museum until the end of August 2025.

Steve is best known for his work on comics such as 2000AD, Preacher and The Punisher. This exhibition has over 50 hand-drawn panels on loan from his family and a private collector, dating from 1978 when, at just 16 years old, his first work was published.
The latest iteration of this brilliant, free exhibition includes many new pieces of artwork that weren’t on display during its previous outing in Northampton.

“I took my two sons to see it yesterday, and like me, they loved it,” enthuses Dillon fan and art collector Robert Cox, who has very kindly shared some photographs of the exhibition with downthetubes, urging us all to see it in person.
“The curator was an absolute delight to chat too about how they managed to get the artwork,” he tells us, “and how long its being displayed for and she had a genuine appreciation and warmth towards the artwork and the significance of it.”
“I’d very much encourage a visit… t’s only a small museum and this is the absolute pride of their exhibition and they’ve made a superb and very impressive effort to highlight Steve’s work.”
