The future has caught up with indie British comics publisher Scratch Comics and Jimmy Broxton’s Fully Loaded #1 has arrived early in comic shops this week, far sooner than expected!
What’s more, we’ve been reliably informed that this first issue of a four-issue mini-series, only available in comic shops, has already sold out in some stores, so make sure you head on down to your local comic shop and grab your copy.
As we previously reported, Jimmy Broxton’s Fully Loaded, published by Jimmy’s Verity Comics in association with Scratch Comics, had already attracted deserved praise from a legion of fellow comic creators, including Howard Chaykin, Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar.

In this Blade Runner meets Sin City Neo-noir, Cyberpunk four-issue crime thriller, a former special forces operative turned gun for hire is lured out of retirement to save the family of a man who once saved his life.

Fully Loaded Signing on Free Comic Book Day
To celebrate the release of Fully Loaded will be a signing with Jimmy on Free Comic Book Day at Forbidden Planet International in Wolverhampton on Saturday 3rd May 2025.
Jimmy Broxton is a UK based graphic artist, illustrator and art director. He is also a 30 year veteran of the comic book industry, having worked (in various guises) as a writer, penciller, inker, colourist, letterer and designer for just about every major comic book publisher in the English speaking world. Clients include: DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, IDW, Warner Bros, Sony Entertainment, Jet City/Amazon and Rebellion Publishing.
