Author Katie Green will be giving a talk in Glasgow as part of the upcoming Aye Write! and Scottish Mental Health and Arts Festival, on Friday 18th October.
Lighter Than My Shadow is Katie Green’s new graphic novel about how being a picky eater slides into anorexia and is sure to catapult her into the first rank of contemporary graphic memoirists. Already well known for her zine The Green Bean, Katie’s memoir not only shows “those who are so weak they prey on the weak”, but how happiness can be recovered and transformed.
Aye Write! takes place at Glasgow’s iconic Mitchell Library annually, every spring. The festival also extends to one-off events throughout the year.
