Here’s a tantalising teaser from “Dan Dare” and Commando comic artist, Keith Page! He’s just completed a 50-page story, titled “Nightmare at Northanger Abbey” which he aims to self-publish. More details about this tale, inspired by the work of Jane Austen, as soon as we get them!

Inspired by the great British comics artists of the past such as Frank Hampson, Don Lawrence and Joe Colquhoun, Keith Page has worked full-time in comics and illustration for over 30 years. Subjects have ranged from television-related material such as Thunderbirds, science fiction, and war stories of all periods for Commando.
Together with Stephen Walsh, he was the creator of Hancock: The Lad Himself, published by B7 Media in 2023, and has published numerous stories starring the dimension-crossing “Charlotte Corday“, some available to read online on tapas.io.

His first Strawjack graphic novel, “The Terror of Romney Marsh“, written by Stephen Walsh, was published in 2022 and is still available from AmazonUK (Affiliate Link), published by Crucible Comic Press.
Working with Stephen Walsh, Keith recently drew a full length graphic novel, Sing Cuckoo, starring actors Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee on a bizarre, imagined road trip across the UK, still seeking a publisher, and another, shorter tale, very loosely inspired by artist /writer Mervyn Peake’s time on the Channel Island of Sark.

Along with many Charlotte Corday-related projects, his works also include The Casebook of Bryant May: The Soho Devil, written by Christopher Fowler.
