Kodansha Creators’ Lab, the indie game publishing arm of entertainment company Kodansha Ltd., announced an April 24th, 2025 release date for developer Tokoronyori’s co-op-only adventure BOKURA: planet, and revealed two new titles — and Roger, and Pararecords — at the INDIE Live Expo.
Test communication and the boundaries of friendship in BOKURA: planet, a collaborative planetary journey requiring two human players. While both astronauts physically inhabit the same space, their environments manifest differently on their respective screens. Solve bi-dimensional puzzles requiring clear communication via voice chat. Adventure together on PC via Steam on Thursday 24th April 2025, and play the demo on Thursday 16th January 2025.
Solo developer yona (In His Time) just debuted his second title: and Roger, a point-and-click visual novel adventure. Investigate the mysterious disappearance of a young woman’s father, who was suddenly and inexplicably replaced by a man she has never met. Awkward conversation results in him offering a strange medicine. Will she take it? Who is he? Where is her father? Find answers to every unsolved question on PC via Steam in Spring 2025.
Counsel children with paranormal abilities in developer 6th Sense Games’ branching narrative adventure, Pararecords. Document their behaviors, soothe their troubles, and discover the source of their powers. The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
