eBay comic auctioneers Phil-Comics February 2022 sale is up and running now, bids on items starting to close this Sunday (20th February). Items include several British classic comics, complete with free gifts, US comics, annuals, and tie-in rarities such as Buster, Eagle and Robin club badges. There are also a large number of Gerry Anderson TV show-related items too – issues of TV Century 21, annuals, rare books and more.
Also included is a reproduction of the Fleetway flyer for their 1963 annuals, and look how many there were. Featured are Lion, Princess, Buster, Harold Hare, June, Tiger and more. This looks very modern, produced on fairly glossy paper, with new staples, but it’s nicely done, with the word “Replica” printed on the reverse in small type, confirming it’s a facsimile. (We do wonder why it was reprinted, though!)
