Gibsons have just released a terrific new jigsaw blending classic The Beano characters with their modern-day, Dennis the Menace and Gnasher-led counterparts.
Gibsons Beano “Past and Present” Jigsaw Puzzle is the latest in the company’s popular line of The Beano games and puzzles, which includes the terrific The Beano 1000-piece 75 Years Jigsaw Puzzle, which comes with a free mini-comic, and Dennis and Gnasher 150pc jigsaw puzzle.
Personally, I think it’s a great “Worlds Collide” take on The Beano, and it’s sure to stir plenty of fond memories in older readers of the weekly humour comic.
“Gibsons has very effectively utilised the fantastic selection of artwork we have on offer and created a unique twist on a classic puzzle,” enthuses Tim Collins, head of brands at DC Thomson.
“As we approach the key Christmas gift buying season, we’re confident this latest addition to their range will be a big hit among The Beano fans of all ages.”
“The Beano is a fun and iconic brand that boasts high levels of consumer awareness and cross-generational appeal,” says Kate Armitage, the marketing director at Gibsons. ” Our new ‘Past and Present’ jigsaw has been designed to capture the spirt of the brand across the years and with lots of early positive indicators from retailers, we definitely think we have a winning product on our hands.”
• The Beano ‘Past and Present’ puzzle is now available from Amazon and other retailers, along with The Beano 75 Years Jigsaw Puzzle and 150 Piece Dennis and Gnasher Jigsaw Puzzle
