London’s House of Illustration is seeking applications for its sixth Illustrator in Residence, so if you’re a designer or illustrator up for the challenge of creating an ambitious body of work that challenges perceptions of what illustration can be, apply now for their annual residency.
The organisation, currently hosting exhibitions of the work of Quentin Blake, Marie Neurath and Posy Simmonds, are looking for an innovative illustrator, graphic artist or collective to create an ambitious body of work that inspires our visitors and challenges public opinion about what illustration can be.
The successful applicant will respond creatively to House of Illustration, taking an active part in our work for the duration of the residency, from 1st December 2019 to 1st June 2020.
House of Illustration welcomes applications from illustrators and graphic artists working in any medium or format. They may be a recent graduate or an established practitioner looking to take their work in a new direction.
