The Marvel Mission Arena Trading Card Game will launch soon in the UK, in time for the UK and Ireland big-screen release of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 on 5th May.
Visitors to this year’s Toy Fair, taking place this week in London, will have first sight of the UK version of the game, which is being distributed in the UK and Ireland by Kids at Play, aka KAP Toys, on behalf of Italian toy company Cicaboom, a manufacturer of both licensed and generic toys and collectibles.
The game combines the appeal of the Marvel superhero brand with deep, multi-faceted play suitable for players over the age of six years. Appealing to Marvel fans and TCG fans alike, each card is simultaneously a collector’s item and a game tool.
With 219 cards to collect, all featuring curated illustrations of the heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe, KAP Toys describes the cards as “must-have items”, as well as central to the gameplay.
“This is a fantastic addition to our portfolio of products, which launches in time for the UK and Ireland big-screen release of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 on 5th May,” enthuses Nathaniel Southworth, KAP Toys managing director. “Don’t miss the opportunity to view Marvel Mission Arena at London Toy Fair.
“We advise all visitors to book an appointment to avoid disappointment – but we will do all we can to accommodate walk-ons.”
Originally brought to life in 2005, KAP Toys founder’s retirement in 2017 meant a change in leadership and a change in direction for the company.
With a team of leading industry experts in place, they have been able to secure contracts to distribute some of the world’s best-known toy brands, and are proud to count leading names such as Fisher Price, Land Rover, Warner Bros and Harry Potter among their stable. They continue to grow, and are always on the lookout for new exciting and innovative toys to share with the world.
