New book, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock – The Making of the Classic Film, gets September 2025 publication date

Although Star Trek Explorer, the latest iteration of Star Trek Magazine has run its course, the final issue on sale now, Titan Publishing will continue to publish Star Trek-related books next year.

Just announced for release in September 2025, available to preorder now, is Star Trek III: The Search for Spock – The Making of the Classic Film by John and Maria Jose Tenuto, which follows up on their Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan retrospective, released last year.

Over 40 years ago, in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Admiral James T. Kirk and his crew embarked on a perilous mission to retrieve Spock’s body and reunite his soul with his physical form, defying Starfleet orders and facing off against Klingon enemies to save their friend.
