Artist Brad Lloyd, who’s been doing some work with former Roy of the Rovers editor and writer Barrie Tomlinson, has teased “The Girls of Granby Town”, a new comic strip story about a girls football team.

“We will hopefully be getting this published in the new year,” Brad teased on Twitter sharing the presentation piece above. Expect more news soon…
“It’s going to be a good strip!” Barrie added, who was previously group editor of comics such as Tiger, Roy of the Rovers, New Eagle, Scream, and more, and created and worked on the newspaper strip, ”Scorer”, published in the Daily Mirror for 22 years.
Brad Lloyd is the illustrator behind Glory Days Artwork, whose many clients include various football clubs and the East Anglia Times.
