New Sci Fi Comic and Toy Fair comes to Chester in June

Chester’s very first Magical Craft Sci Fi Comic and Toy Fair takes place in June, courtesy of MSE Events, who also run Sci-Fi and Comic Fairs in Preston, Salford Quays, and more.

Magical Craft Sci Fi Comic and Toy Fair 11.00am – 4.00pm Sunday 22nd June 2025, Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel, Parkgate Road, Chester CH66 9PB

This new event takes place at Craxton Wood Macdonald Hotel on Sunday 22nd June, and exhibitor spaces are available to book now here, either with a table, or whether you are bringing your own.

Over 60 exhibitor spaces are on offer, the Hotel offering ample parking, set in beautiful grounds. Exhibitors will be selling incredible collectables from the world of Harry Potter, Enchanted, Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Horror merchandise and more.

Step into a colourful and wonderful world where ones imagination comes alive for all the family to enjoy and experience!

MSE Events is a fan based organisation established in 2008, dedicated to the pursuit of organising ‘Family Comic Convention’s and Sci- Fi/Comic Book Shows and Fairs’ in North West England and surrounding regions, including North Wales. Run by a small group of fans, including volunteers, who are passionate about all things related to comics, science fiction and fantasy, its primary focus for its events “Entertainment”, although on occasion some stars that have appeared in various acting/television roles may be featured as invited guests.

John Freeman

John is the founder of downthetubes, launched in 1998. He is a comics and magazine editor, writer, and Press Officer for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He also runs Crucible Comic Press.

Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine and Overkill for Marvel UK, Babylon 5 Magazine, Star Trek Magazine, and its successor, Star Trek Explorer, and more.
