Three amazing comic guests have recently been added to the line-up for Preston Comic Con, taking place on Saturday 23rd September 2017 at the city’s Guild Hall.
Joining a line-up that already included comic creators John Higgins and Lew Stringer, Doctor Who book cover artist Chris Achilleos and numerous film and TV stars such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon are Phil Winslade (whose credits include 2000AD‘s Judge Dredd, and Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Ant Man, Batman, Jonah Hex and many more); Jake Lynch (Judge Dredd, The Dark Judges, Sinister Dexter, Tales from the Black Museum, Future Shocks) and Karl Richardson (Warhammer, 2000AD, Judge Dredd and Sinister Dexter).
More comic guests have yet be announced, and the event organisers should be proud (as with many others such as the teams behind ICE, True Believers and more) of putting the “comic” back into Comic Con.
