Phil-Comics have over 260 vintage comic listings in their latest eBay auction this week, all starting at the usual 99p with no reserve, including a number of free gifts collectors may be seeking to match up with comics they already own – and some rare comic-related badges, too.

On offer this month, alongside a first issue of Shiver and Shake and the first issue of The Beano to feature “Dennis the Menace” on its cover, a variety of annuals, US comics and more, are three collectable 1950s badges offered to readers Girl, Schoolfriend and Swift.

The free gifts include items from titles as far back as DC Thomson’s 1920s The Rover story paper – offering a guide of flying for those new to the challenge! – and others from the 1950s.

Here are just a few of the items on offer in the auction…

Run by Phil Shrimpton, Phil-Comics specialises in vintage comics and related items such as annuals, holiday specials, free gifts and original artwork.

Holding monthly eBay auctions, often with 500+ listings, they aim to bring a diverse array of items – and are always on the lookout for vintage comic collections, either to buy or auction on commission.
