An incredible cover from Mark Harrison leaps out at thrill seekers for 2000AD Prog 2410 this week – and there’s adventure aplenty, too, in the latest Battle-Action, too!
Plus, don’t miss out on the 2000AD Annual 2025 – marking the return of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic’s return to delivering a festive treat, just like Tharg used to!
In 2000AD, “The Out” continues forwards, ever forwards, alongside all the regular stories in the Prog this week… and don’t think we haven’t missed those Doctor Who and Terrahawks nods in this week’s “Judge Dredd”, artist Ben Willsher!
(“Judge Dredd” script writer Michael Carroll tells us the nods to famous fictional robots are “all Ben’s idea, as far as I know… My script just says, ‘hundreds of old, clapped-out robots, all shapes and sizes’ – it never even occurred to me to sneak in all those classic droids!”)
In Battle-Action #4, in the lead episode of “Johnny Red”, we find out just where Nina Petrova has been since she apparently went missing during the War. Her story is backed up by an all-new complete “El Mestizo” story, as he catches a train – and there’s a sequence at the end of the story which you will not believe!

JUDGE DREDD // THE COMFORT ZONE
by Mike Carroll (Writer) Ben Willsher (Artist) Annie Parkhouse (Letterer)
Mega-City One, 2146 AD. Home to over 200 million citizens, this urban hell is situated along the east coast of post-apocalyptic North America. Crime is rampant and only the Judges — empowered to dispense instant justice — can stop total anarchy. Toughest of them all is JUDGE DREDD — he is the Law! Now, he’s on patrol with Judge Joyce, policing a mutant settlement beyond the walls of the city…
THE OUT // BOOK FOUR
by Dan Abnett (Writer) Mark Harrison (Artist) Simon Bowland (Letterer)
The furthest edge of the universe. Cyd Finlea was a photo-journalist working for the publishers Global Neographic, travelling deep into outer space — otherwise known as THE OUT — and cataloguing the alien societies that she encounters. She left Earth ten years ago and has been seeking other ex-pat humans — but now, having lost her old pal Cheerio and said goodbye to her daughter Joey, she’s finding work…
NIGHTMARE NEW YORK
by Kek-W (Writer) David Roach (Artist) Peter Doherty (c) Annie Parkhouse (Letterer)
Lower Manhattan, 1845. Paradise Square is at the centre of Five Points in Old New York, where five street corners meet. The early days of the North American metropolis are marked by a mix of poverty, organised crime and hardscrabble lives, where ragpickers rub shoulders with missionaries. Young Lil, living rough on these dank streets, has just turned eighteen, and has been captured by diabolists, after discovering her powers…
AZIMUTH // THE FABLED BASILISK
by Dan Abnett (Writer) Tazio Bettin (Artist) Matt Soffe (Colourist) Jim Campbell (Letterer)
Welcome to the city of AZIMUTH, a data-driven metropolis, where anything is possible. Ruled by an aristocracy of the New Flesh, such concepts of life, death, and body-forms are fluid. The New Flesh masters have been troubled by strange dreams, which seem to have predicted the coming of a stranger — none other than Ramone Dexter, who’s teamed up with Psi-Judge Cassandra Anderson to save Downlode…
ROGUE TROOPER // WHEN A G.I. DIES
by Garth Ennis (Writer) Patrick Goddard (Artist) Rob Steen (Letterer)
Nu Earth, site of a galactic war between the Norts and the Southers, where the atmosphere has been rendered poisonous. So the Southers created the Genetic Infantrymen, bred to be immune to the pollutants — G.I.s like ROGUE TROOPER, the last of his kind. Together with biochip buddies Helm, Gunnar and Bagman, they’re searching for the traitor that sold them out…
