There are, as ever, thrills aplenty to savour in this week’s 2000AD. The latest arc in “The Fall of Deadworld” saga “Retribution”, reaches its explosive climax in Prog 2374, to name but one.
Alongside “Full Tilt Boogie”, “Indigo Prime” and the penultimate part of “Thistlebone”, you don’t want to miss a fun, complete “Judge Dredd” thriller, “A Dimensional Traveller’s Guide to Mega-City One”, written by Ken Niemand, with fantastic art from Joe Currie, whose work you may have seen in previous “Regened” specials.
The story is a riff on some early Dredd one-offs in 2000AD, and delivering a welcome change of pace after the grimness of “A Better World”. (Both kinds of stories have a rightful place in this title’s lineup!).
Tharg reveals he’ll be teaming with writer Michael Carroll for a brand-new series coming later in the year. Can’t wait!
Over in Judge Dredd Megazine, alongside its usual heady mix of new and represented tales, plus tributes to the late Paul Neary and Enrique Badia Romero, who we paid tribute to recently here on downthetubes.
