Skyjack to launch new 100% Magazine next week

100_per_cent_may14_2Skyjack Publishing, the company behind the hugely successful Moshi Monsters Magazine, launch a new title, 100% Magazine next week.

Aimed at pre-teen children, every issue of 100% Magazine will be devoted to a single entertainment brand, TV show, or the latest craze sweeping school playgrounds.

Produced by the team behind the successful Moshi Monsters Magazine who also recently launched Poppet Magazine, 100% Magazine is a fully licensed and official oneshot title.

Brands featured in 100% Magazine will include Moshi Village, Moshi Karts and Moshlings from the amazing world of Moshi Monsters, Subway Surfers (the second most popular game in the world, with downloads in excess of 420 million) and children’s fantasy adventure book series BeastQuest, which has sold more than 11 million copies to date.

Issue No.1 of 36-page 100% Magazine will be dedicated to Subway Surfers. Featuring Jake and his gang of skateboard-riding, spray paint-toting characters, the aim of the game is to graffiti as many tube trains as they can, while avoiding the clutches of the inspector (and his dog).

Exploring the Subway Surfers world with unique character bios, an adventure story, as well as posters and puzzles, the launch issue of 36-page 100% Magazine will open up the game for fans, along with behind-the-scenes features, competitions and provide tips, tricks and cheats.

• Issue No.1 of 100% Magazine will come with a covermounted customisable mini-skateboard kit, over 50 Subway Surfers stickers and eight incredible posters and is on sale in all good newsagents from 12th June 2014

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Star Trek Explorer (previously known as Star Trek Magazine) and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War and “Dan Dare”. He’s the writer of "Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies" for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
