Midwinter Creations is the home for the work of Luke Cooper, creator of Hollow Girl, Figments and A Glimpse of Hell, and artist on Wolf Country and the True Believers Award-winning GoodCopBadCop – and he has a new comic out now, a steampunk adventure titled South of Bedlam, which looks terrific.
In steampunk London, young Pippa Redington – daughter of a reknowned detective – puts her inherited skills to use tracking down a murderer who preys on the unfortunate women of the night.
Upon discovering that he is more than he appears, however, Pippa is forced to turn to her eccentric inventor companion to come up with a cunning way to catch … Spring-Heeled Jack!
“South of Bedlam is a fun steampunk detective story,” Luke’s says, “perfect for fans of the genre and bad-ass female comic characters in general!”
