An eclectic mix of rare and unusual Star Wars items, from vintage era to modern age, are up for auction at Vectis Auctions at the end of this month.

The auction includes rare French Meccano 45-back figures, including Boba Fett and Luc (Tenue Bespin), better known, of course to English speakers, as Luke Skywalker; over ninety high graded loose figures, a full-size Storm Trooper costume and a 5’ AT-AT. Plus, cast and crew items, props, pre-production pieces, scripts, press booklets, photographs, posters and books.
There are 619 lots in this auction, from multiple collectors, with something for everyone, and the auction is expected to achieve between £94,000 – £120,000.
Starting at the earlier time of 9.30am on Tuesday 29th October, to allow time for the expected high volume of bids, the auction is every Star Wars collector’s dream. In the words of the Vectis specialist: “There’s just so much great stuff!”

From carded and loose figures, playsets and vehicles, to life size helmets, an extremely rare Death Squad Commander on a 21A back, and a script for the trailer for the Revenge of the Jedi, with pen annotations changing the title to “Return of the Jedi”
A Kenner vinyl caped 12-Back Jawa is one of the Stars of the Show, with an estimate of £7,000- £8,000, along with the Meccano Boba Fett at £3,000 – £4,000 and Luc which has been given an estimate of £2,000 – £3,000.
