ITV has released another teaser video to promote Thunderbirds Are Go, this time focusing on Tracy Island and other sets from the upcoming series. The video is available through the official Thunderbirds Are Go YouTube channel.
The miniature sets and craft have been lovingly made by WETA Workshop – the model makers behind Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit and Avatar. The series music has been specially composed by Ben and Nick Foster, best known for their work on Doctor Who and Torchwood.

A closer shot of the lounge displaying all five Tracy brothers and, presumably, Kayo (voiced by Angel Coulby) the character who seems to have replaced TinTin in the new show.

The Thunderbird One hangar. But where are the Marx Brothers periscopes? (Older Thunderbirds fans will know what we mean by this)…

We’re guessing this the base for The Hood. In Thunderbirds Are Go, Brains is of Asian origin. Could there be some link between him and the Tracy’s beat-known nemesis? In the original series Kyrano, Jeff Tracy’s servant, was related to The Hood.
When disaster strikes and there’s no one else to help, International Rescue answers the call! From their secret island base, this family of highly trained responders can reach every corner of the globe – and beyond – in minutes. With their remarkable cutting edge Thunderbird Vehicles, brothers Scott, Virgil, John, Gordon and Alan Tracy along with head of security Kayo and lead engineer Brains pull off amazing feats of heroism. No rescue is too big and no journey too far to save a life. When duty calls, Thunderbirds are Go…
It’s a new day for Tracy Island. International Rescue is back.
Thunderbirds Are Go features the voice talents of Rasmus Hardiker (Scott Tracy, Alan Tracy), David Menkin (Virgil Tracy), Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Gordon Tracy, John Tracy), Rosamund Pike (Lady Penelope), David Graham (Aloysius Parker), Kayvan Novak (Brains), Sandra Dickinson (Grandma Tracy), Andres Williams (The Hood), Angel Coulby (Kayo) and Adjoa Andoh (Colonel Casey)
The series is directed by David Scott with Theo Baynton as Episodic Director. Its Executive Producer is Giles Ridge and the Head Writer is Rob Hoegee. Thunderbirds Are Go features music by Ben and Nick Foster.
