Titan Comics Joins Diamond’s Premier Publishers as company expands range, gets set to launch new YA range, Nova

Titan Comics Title Montage - December 2023

Diamond Comic Distributors, the world’s largest distributor of comics, graphic novels, and pop culture merchandise, has announced an expanded partnership with London-based Titan Comics, as Titan has been promoted to Premier Publisher status. Diamond will continue to serve as Titan’s exclusive distributor to the comic book specialty market.

Titan will be joining BOOM! Studios and Dynamite Entertainment in Diamond Comic Distributors’ Premier Publishers tier. The Premier Publisher tier features prime coverage at the front of the PREVIEWS catalog and expanded support on the PREVIEWSworld website.

Titan will move into the Premier Publisher tier beginning in the January 2024 PREVIEWS catalog, which is available at comic shops on 27th December 2023.

“We are thrilled to now be a Premier Publisher with Diamond,” said Titan Comics Co-Publishers Nick Landau and Vivian Cheung. “Our amazing growth in our Comics Division over the past 10 years has been a product of our dedicated staff and creators, tremendous licensing partners, and the unbelievable support from Diamond and all of the comic retailers. 2024 is going to be a crowning year, leading off with Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon in January and a host of new creator owned and licensed titles across our comics, magazines, fiction and artbooks ranges.”

Rebel Moon is written by Mags Visaggio with art by Clark Bint, a four-issue prequel to the Netflix movie, on sale in comic shops from 10th January 2024.

“We will also be significantly expanding our existing series and range of Manga lines,” Nick adds, “plus launching a new YA imprint, Nova.”

Titan Comics offers astounding comics and graphic novels from the world’s greatest film, television and gaming licensed properties. Alongside creator-owned comic books from new and world-renowned talent, Titan’s imprints include Titan Magazines (Marvel, Star Wars and Star Trek), Hard Case Crime, Titan Manga, Titan Nova for Y/A and Middle Grade, and the Conan the Barbarian publishing program.

Conan the Barbarian - Free Comic Book Day 2024 (Titan Comics)

Conan the Barbarian will feature as part of next year’s Free Comic Book Day, coordinated by Diamond, on 4th May 2024. Written by Jim Zub with art by Jonas Scharf, the FCBD Conan issue will launch a Battle of the Black Stone event, which will roll out through late Summer and into the Autumn, building on plotlines introduced in the critically acclaimed Conan the Barbarian ongoing series.

“I’m excited to welcome Titan to the ranks of Premier Publisher within Diamond,” said Tim Lenaghan, Chief Purchasing Officer for Geppi Family Enterprises. “Their commitment to growing their publishing in the Direct Market over the last decade is evident in both the breadth and quality of the comics and graphic novels released each and every month. We’re excited to see what 2024 brings!”
