Over on the DC Thomson webshop, the Scottish publisher is currently offering a great deal with a “Triple Trouble Pack” offer that includes this year’s Beano Annual, The Dandy Annual and The Beano & Dandy Gift Book 2024 for just £25.
That’s almost a £15 discount on the retail price, currently beating the prices of buying the individual annuals from other web base retailers, or from some bookshops.
Beanotown is the place to go for mischief and mayhem, because it’s the place where kids rule! The parents and the teachers of Bash Street School might think differently, but the kids from the longest-running weekly comic in the world know the truth… as they prove in the Beano Annual 2024, offering 112 pages of brand new, awesomely funny stories.
Although no longer published as a weekly, The Dandy Annual continues, and this year’s includes represented tales featuring characters such as Desperate Dan, Winker Watson, Cuddles & Dimples, Corporal Clott and all their friends.
We know from social media that many hanker for the weekly comics of days gone by, so you’ll be pleased to hear The Beano & Dandy Gift Book 2024 includes classic strips from long gone weekly comics like The Beezer, The Topper, Sparky and Nutty, as well as The Dandy and The Beano. On offer are selected exploits featuring a range of zany classic characters from all across the DC Thomson archives – which older downthetubes readers remember with much fondness, that, rightfully, they think younger readers would still enjoy, alongside modern comic stars still published today.
This year’s collection includes strips revealing the superheroic alter-egos of the Bash Street Kids. Plus, join Billy the Cat and Katie Cat, the fast and furious crime-fighting feline-themed duo, for action and adventure.
DC Thomson also have an offer on their annual books featuring long-running, hugely popular comic strips “The Broons” and “Oor Wullie”, offering The Broons Book Pack 2024.
Published every two years, The Broons Annual 2024 offers 100 strips featuring “Scotland’s favourite family”. Meanwhile, in the The Broons & Oor Wullie Gift Book 2024, join Oor Wullie, and The Broon’s while they take part in Auchenshoogle’s Got Talent!
This fun-filled gift book showcases a collection of theatre-themed comic strips for you and the family to enjoy.
Take Thum Hame T’day!
