‘Dinomite’ becomes ‘Dinosaur Action” with latest issue

Dinosaur Action Issue 77

Signature Publishing has re-branded its long-running monthly dinosaur-inspired title Dinomite with Issue 77, on sale today (29th November)

Now called Dinosaur Action, the name change coincides with a Walking With Dinosaurs The 3D Movie takeover special. Readers can enjoy Patchi, Gorgon and the rest of the cast through facts, games, puzzles, comic strip and awesome things to win.

The issue also includes a Walking With Dinosaurs movie poster free with the magazine, alongside a bumper pack of other gifts including a Dino Crossbow and targets, pack of Zombie Zity Bouncerz and six dinosaur fact cards.

“This exciting change reflects Dinosaur Action‘s position as the only monthly children’s magazine packed with 100 per cent dinosaur action,” says Chee-Mann Chan, Signature’s Publishing Director. “This name change is the result of thorough research and test issues which produced conclusive results and also forms an integral part of our strategy to take Dinosaur Action global – with the introduction of overseas distribution and the imminent launch of our new digital magazine App.”

Launched as Dinomite in 2007, each issue of Dinosaur Action features awesome dinosaur facts, pictures, posters, games and puzzles. It’s Britain’s only dedicated monthly dinosaur magazine that captures the fascination that all children have for dinosaurs.

Aimed at primary school children, every issue comes with a dinosaur gift, its educational information offering insights about when and how dinosaurs lived, what it was like on Earth millions of years ago and amazing facts about each dinosaur.

Every issue of Dinosaur Action also features the all-new comic strip adventures of Dinoboy – the coolest superhero of the last 65 million years – drawn by Stuart Harrison, written by his partner, Angela Salt. “It’s really popular with the readers,” Stuart tells us. “I’ll be happy to do it for years to come!”

As well as creating the ‘Turbo Racer’ strip for Signature’s Turbo Racer magazine, the Liverpool-based duo have also produced comic strips based on their own intellectual properties for TOXIC, The Dandy and Easy Peazy.

On a much bigger scale (8ftx10ft that is!) Stu has recently partnered with award-winning company, Walltastic, designing ready-to-hang children’s wallpaper murals on a variety of popular themes.

Dinosaur Action is available nationwide at all good supermarkets and newsagents. Alternatively you can purchase your copy by calling 01483 779500. Visit the official website – dinomitemag.com or ‘like’ their Facebook page
