The Galaxy’s Greatest Comic will be arriving in the Big Apple next week for New York Comic Con, one of the biggest dates in the convention calendar!
2000AD promise the event will be alive with Thrill-power as the droids bring the best of the comic to the show – complete with incredible show exclusives.
After the ongoing publicity around the ‘Make A DREDD sequel’ campaign, the 2000AD team tell us they’re going DREDD movie crazy!
First, there’s the show-exclusive DREDD comic book sequel A2 poster, drawn by Henry Flint in glorious black and white. Plus, they’ll also have show-exclusive movie-version Judge Dredd and Judge Anderson T-shirts, also drawn by Flint, in both male and female sizes! These are available in very limited numbers so it’s first come first served.
British creators at New York Comic Con include Charlie Adlard, former 2000AD editor Andy Diggle, Al Ewing, Kieron Gillen, Andy Lanning, David Lloyd and Declan Shalvey.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
