The Judge Death Mega-Special 2025
UK and DIGITAL: 22 October £4.99
NORTH AMERICA: 26 November $8.99
DIAMOND: AUG250921
COVER: Brian Bolland

Hailing from a parallel dimension known as Deadworld, Judge Death is a creature for whom all life is a crime. Once, he was a young psychotic boy called Sidney De’Ath, the son of an equally depraved and lunatic dentist, whose penchant for violence saw him joining Deadworld’s brutal Justice Department as a Cadet Judge.
As he rose through the ranks, his philosophy took shape — since crime is committed by the living, therefore life itself is a crime, and the sentence can only be death.
Encountering a pair of witches, these self-styled Sisters of Death went about transforming Sidney from the still-living human being into a resurrected supernatural ghoul, incapable of being killed — and thus Judge Death was born, complete with his modified robes of office.
Death gathered lieutenants to aid him in his quest to purge all life from the world, and, similarly transformed by the Sisters: Judge Fear (whose helm reveals the victim’s greatest, heart-stopping fear), Judge Fire (whose flaming trident immolates all in its path) and Judge Mortis (whose fetid touch brings decay) joined Death to become the Dark Judges. They murdered an entire planet.
But the Dark Judges knew there were other worlds beyond theirs, where guilty life still existed, demanding their twisted judgement. So after forging devices capable of crossing dimensions, Death discovered Mega-City One and began his long reign of terror, attempting to massacre the metropolis in the same manner as he’d destroyed his own realm…
