Christmas comes early from The Mighty Tharg today, with 2000AD Prog 2463 and Judge Dredd Megazine 487 on sale in all good TG Jones, select supermarkets, Local Comic Shops, and as digital editions from the 2000AD web store!
Here’s the final previews from Rebellion for 2025, and the biggest as well, leading with a 100-page issue of 2000AD out this week to celebrate the holiday, season, graced with a standout cover by Greg Staples.

Inside, legendary Belgian investigator MikMak makes a surprise visit to Mega-City One, thanks to Ken Niemand and Stref; Strontium Dog deals with ghosts of his past; Judge Anderson meets a familiar face; Hawk The Slayer and Herne & Shuck return; Rogue Trooper concludes the epic “Ghost Patrol” (collection out next year); Young Death licks some gross stuff; and a new Thrill called “The Discarded” arrives, courtesy of Peter Milligan and Kieran McKeown; and Scott Montgomery brings us “2025: A Year in Thrills”, a guide to the past twelve months of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic.
Wait – you’ve never heard of MikMak? Where have you been for the past century?

Surely you remember his classic adventure, “The Plutonium Menace”, a classic caper to be sure? No? How about “The Robot Revolution”, a story bound to put a smile on anyone’s face? Or that time he visited The Cursed Earth? A classic! And who didn’t love reading “MikMak in Deadworld” when it first came out?(They couldn’t publish comics like this anymore! It wouldn’t be politically correct – but we loved it!).
Of course, there were MikMak books that they weren’t afraid to cover topical issues that other comics were scared of touching, too, like “MikMak and the Organ-Leggers”… still on point today!
MikMak finally returns in 2000AD Prog 2463, out today!
Judge Dredd Megazine, Too!

Not enough? It’s Christmas, we get it, you want more. How about a 100-page Judge Dredd Megazine with a cover from Cliff Robinson and Dylan Teague, a complete new Judge Dredd story, alongside the latest instalments of Megatropolis; Armitage; Judge Anderson; and Dreadnoughts? Not just that: this issue also has the conclusion of “Rok The God” by John Wagner, Alan Grant and Dan Cornwell – just in time for the all-new “Rok of the Reds” series to begin in the Megazine next year.
Happy Holidays, punks! Tharg wishes you a zarjaz and ghafflebette New Year!
