Full strip details for Fifty Years of Dredd revealed

Fifty Years of 2000AD also means Fifty Years of Judge Dredd – and publisher Rebellion have released more details on its upcoming celebratory, eponymous collection due for release on 11th February 2027, including a strip checklist.

Judge Dredd made his debut in the second issue of 2000AD back in 1977, meaning that 2027 marks the 50th drokkin’ anniversary for the Lawman of the Future. And Rebellion are celebrating with a huge new collection of stories from across five decades, which follows the character across the years as he maintains Law and Order on the streets of Mega-City One.

The book also includes new interviews conducted by Eisner-Winner Michael Molcher (I Am The Law) with some of Dredd’s many notable creatives, including co-creator John Wagner, Mick McMahon, Jock and many more.

He’s Britain’s biggest comic book export – and a huge new book will showcase Judge Dredd, Lawman of the Future, as he celebrates half a century of publication.

Releasing 11th February 2027, Fifty Years of Judge Dredd, available to preorder now, is an over-sized omnibus collection of Dredd’s greatest cases from the pages of 2000AD, alongside interviews with some of the greatest talents in comics to have brought him to life.

Each slipcase is individually numbered and showcases exclusive new artwork by Henry Flint, inspired by co-creator Carlos Ezquerra’s original character design sketch (which is also featured on the flipside of the slipcase).
