Coming Soon: the first-ever Worcester Comic Con

Worcester Comic Con 2016 - SNIP

Taking place at the University of Worcester Arena on Sunday 21st August, with a promised one hundred traders of wonderful things, from comics to film and TV merchandise, the first ever Worcester Comic Con offers a great line up of comics creators as guests, plus appearances by film and TV guests from Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Red Dwarf, Star Wars and many more.

Comic creators announced are Lee Bradley (Retro Marvel, Marvel’s Greatest Battles and more);  John McCrea, whose many credits include work for DC Comics, Marvel, Dark Horse Comics, 2000AD, to name but a few; Steve Pugh, whose credits include work for both British and US publishers; Lee Sullivan, currently working on Titan Comics Rivers of London project but whose credits also include Doctor Who, RoboCop for Marvel US and William Shatner’s TekWorldAndi Watson, best known for the graphic novels Breakfast After Noon, Slow News Day and his series Skeleton Key and Love Fights; and Andrew Wildman, best known for his work on Transformers, but who has worked for numerous comic companies as well as successfully publishing his own books.

Media guests are Josef Altin (Pypar, Game of Thrones), Chris Barrie (Arnold J Rimmer, Red Dwarf), Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett, Star Wars), Peter Davison (Doctor Who), Julian Glover (Grand Maester Pycelle, Game of Thrones, Star Wars), Alan Harris (Star Wars), Hattie Hayridge (Red Dwarf),Virginia Hey (Farscape), Robert Llewellyn (Kryten, Red Dwarf), Sarah Louise Madison (Doctor Who), Sylvester McCoy (Doctor Who), Ian McNeice (Doctor Who), Andrew Lee Potts (Primeval), Sarah Sutton (Nyssa, Doctor Who) and Paul Warren (Star Wars: The Force Awakens)
