Bryan Talbot, Graphic Novel Man – DVD and download winners!

Bryan Talbot: Graphic Novel Man

Digital Story Engine recently released their ace documentary “Graphic Novel Man” focusing on the career of award-winning British comic creator Bryan Talbot (you can read our review here) and gave us six copies of the DVD and six HD Digital downloads to give away. All entrants needed to do was answer three questions set by Bryan – and we have 12 lucky winners!

It’s testament to Bryan’s critical acclaim that many of our entrants were fellow comic creators. The winners, chosen by random cat and scribbled out pieces of paper pulled from a hat, are: Ashley Beeching; Norman Boyd; Laura Watton-Davies;  Rich Diesslin; Tony Luke; Tim Perkins; Paul McCaffrey; Kevin Richter; Smuzz; Chris Tresson; Owen Watts and Tony Williams.

As for the answer to Bryan’s questions: the title of Bryan Talbot’s first graphic novel was of course, The Adventures of Luther Arkwright; the DC Vertigo series Bryan drew several stories of and for which he designed the character Destruction was Sandman; and the name of the badger detective currently starring in his Grandville series of graphic novels is Archie LeBrock.

Congratulations to our winners!

And there’s more good news this morning, because Digital Story Engine have just told us Volume Two of this fascinating insight into Bryan’s career will begin in September with a downloadable documentary  focussing on The Adventures of Luther Arkwright and Heart of Empire.
