Star Trek films set to return to movie theaters across United States

Paramount and Star Trek are celebrating the 60th year of the franchise this year, marking six decades since the original TV show first aired in 1966.

To honour this classic franchise, courtesy of AMC and Cinemark, the first four original Star Trek films will return to movie theatres across the United States from 4th September 7th September 2026, as unique double-feature bills paired with thematic Star Trek TV episodes.

On Tuesday 8th September, Star Trek Day, there will be a marathon of all four films and episodes.

Friday 4th September Star Trek: The Motion Picture – The Director’s Edition

+ Season 2 Episode 3: “The Changeling”

Saturday 5th September: Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan – The Director’s Cut

+ Season 1 Episode 22: “Space Seed”

Sunday 6th September: Star Trek III: The Search for Spock

+ Season 2 Episode 1: “Amok Time”

Monday 7th September: Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

+ Season 1 Episode 28: “The City on the Edge of Forever”
