An early Autumn episode of ‘Clear Spot’ from the team behind the Panel Borders radio show will offers some top comic content next month, on creating them, and getting them published work into the international market.
Both items spring, in part from the show’s long connections with the Lakes International Comic Art Festival.
Back at the 2022 Festival, Panel Borders show host Alex Fitch talked to Greg Rucka, Ram V, Michael Lark and Mike Perkins about creating new comics based on long running titles such as Swamp Thing and Batman. That conversation leads this episode.
Plus, earlier this week, Alex talked to translator and general manager of VIP Brands Ivanka Hahnenberger about the new Comics Rights Market, which will launch at this year’s Lakes International Comic Art Festival, where young creators can find new publishing opportunities in Europe.
