Artist and TV producer Paul Mark Tams has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo for artist Daryl Joyce‘s first ever calendar.
Daryl Joyce is a highly regarded illustrator and designer, specialising in genre film and TV illustrations. His work has been used for numerous DVD and Blu Ray covers, books, animations, magazines and TV documentaries.
His credits include pieces for Doctor Who Magazine, the Doctor Who Storybook, the Doctor Who annual, and the official BBC website e-book editions of several original novels. Back in 2006, he provided the background art for some of BBC Studios animation projects, including The Power of the Daleks.
His work has also been presented more recently in the best selling Telos publication, The Illustrated Journey: A Visual Celebration of Doctor Who.
This is Daryl’s first calendar, featuring moments from the first seven Doctors, showcasing 12 of his own favourite moments from the character’s first 26 years of time travel.
The full colour calendar, well on course for crowdfunding success, will be published in A4 Landscape format, which opens to a full length A3 Wall Calendar with each month displayed under a glorious new artwork.
Keep track of times and places throughout 2025 with a fantastic calendar showcasing the art of of a brilliant creator.
The campaign is being run by TV producer and fellow artist Paul Tams, also known as Paul Mark Tams, who was an associate producer for the K9 TV series. He and Bob Baker created the programme, and also co-wrote the episode Mind Snap. Tams and Alex Kubalsky designed the K9 used in the series. He also illustrated several Doctor Who annuals published by World Distributors.
