Tim Brown, Rik Hoskin and team are back with two brand new Terror Trump sets, this time with a weird west theme, offering a Trumps-style card game where a character’s abilities, plus a little strategy, will win the day!

The old west and horror collide in this latest Terror Trumps offering – a classic combo like cowboys and rustlers, bats and belfries, heads and spikes…

Inside these two new packs you’ll find 64 characters, from the real (Wyatt Earp) to the imaginary (The Nosferatu Kid) plus brand new modifier cards to tweak your game in mighty unexpected ways… Yeehaw!

Easy to play and crazy fun for two or more players, each pack can be played alone or combined. They also combine with the previous sets we released for a massive winner-take-all Terror-fest!

Inspired by the old Horror Trumps of the 1970s created by Dubreq, Weird West Terror Trumps is a game anyone can pick up and play in an instant. No complicated rules, no small parts to lose, just a deck of character cards and a lot of fun.

The Card Trumps game – Weird West Terror edition – is a collaboration between award-winning comic book writer Rik Hoskin, and comic artists Tim Brown and Chatri Ahpornsiri. And you!

John Freeman

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.

Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.

He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
