Here’s the fabulous cover by David Roach for Doctor Who – The White Dragon, the next collection of Panini’s Thirteenth Doctor comic strips from Doctor Who Magazine, out next year.
The 124 page collection is scheduled for release on 1st March 2024, and can be preordered here on AmazonUK (Affiliate Link) – and from other outlets.
The White Dragon is the highly anticipated next chapter of the Thirteenth Doctor’s comic strip adventures from the official Doctor Who Magazine, now in its fourth decade of publication.
The collection features stories written by Scott Gray and Jacqueline Rayner, with art by Martin Geraghty, Russ Leach, and Scott Gray on the title strip.

It’s expected the book will include special behind-the-scenes features with exclusive material revealing how the strips were created, including artwork and commentary from the writers and artists.
“Given the title, I thought it would be fun to have a cover reminiscent of an old kung fu movie poster,” says Panini’s collection editor Ed Hammond, “but I never thought it would turn out this well!
“David Roach has absolutely delivered. It’s a really beautiful piece of art – I’ve already seen one tweet describe it as the best Panini Doctor Who comic cover ever!”
More details on the collection will follow in Doctor Who Magazine shortly, along with other exciting Doctor Who comic collection news for 2024 Ed has already teased in a recent Doctor Who – Panel to Panel podcast.
