Our Doctor Who Twelfth Doctor Art Challenge competition has closed, and you can view all the entries here.
We’ve been blown away by the range of entries, both realistic and caricature/cartoon featuring Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor, which include art from Martin Baines, Tony Luke, Dan McDaid, Rob Davis, Kev Hopgood, Rob Moran, Rodney Ramos, Lee Sullivan and Smuzz, to name but a few. Our thanks to them all.
Three of the final entries were from writer, actor and artist Brian Gorman, John Innes, and Australian artist and designer Lucas Bowers below, reflecting the range of art we have to choose from!
We’re blown away by the fact that folk took time out of their busy schedules to join in with this. Now comes the judging!
The best design (in our view, which may or may not be influenced by the number of ‘likes’ it gets) will win some Doctor Who goodies from the downthtubes Vault of Stuff We Get Sent – and a copy of the amazing graphic novel 3 Seconds by Marc-Antoine Mathieu, out this month from Jonathan Cape (reviewed here).
• We’ll announce the winner after the weekend, after our forum members have had a chance to cast their ‘Like’ votes!
• You can view all the entries here
