Running on eBay this weekend, the last few days of Sophie’s Secret Postcard Auction still features over 1800 donated artworks, including cartoons, being sold in aid of the The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Organised by St Richard’s Catholic College, the fourth Sophie’s Postcard auction, which started a few days back, ends on Sunday 30th June 2024.
The postcard-sized art fundraising sale has raised more than £82,500 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The auction is in memory of Sophie Maria Taylor, a former pupil, who was cared for by The Royal Marsden but lost her life to cancer on 5th April 2017.
#sophiespostcard is an auction consisting of original postcard-sized artworks. Each original postcard artwork has been donated by “secret” artists, each signed on the reverse. The item you are buying may be by a famous artist, celebrity or a talented pupil of the School – you will only find out for sure when you receive your postcard. The work is sold as seen.
As you can imagine, those with a recognised art style are commanding plenty of bidding.

In all, 2142 artworks were donated for this auction. (You can buy a catalogue here).
More than 3000 original postcard sized artworks have been auctioned on eBay for the event since the first auction in 2018 and over 2000 were donated for the 2024 auction.
The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre.
