The penultimate prog of 2000AD for 2025 finds “Judge Dredd: Messengers” wrapping up with a preview for what’s to come in 2026, as Dredd embarks on a new Mega-Epic with horrific consequences for the Lawman of the Future.

2000AD Prog 2462, with a cover by Nick Percival, also wraps up “Dead Town“, while “Rogue Trooper” heads towards its own conclusion in next week’s 100-page Christmas issue.
All this, and a new “Future Shock” from James Lovegrove and Toby Willsmer – the Galactic Thrills have no end!
And by way of a teaser for next week’s 100-page page blow-out, be ready for Prog 2463, which will be no exception to previous annual Christmas celebrations for the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic from Tharg, with the usual mix of new stories and special one-offs.
Alongside the scrotnig double-length finale to Rogue Trooper epic “Ghost Patrol”, you can find the opening instalments of both Peter Milligan & Kieran McKeown’s SF prison thriller “The Discarded”, and the second full-length series of David Barnett & Lee Milmore’s folk horror “Herne & Shuck”, plus complete tales for Judge Dredd, Azimuth, Hawk the Slayer, Strontium Dog and Young Death… A right plum pudding and no mistake!

After a three-year battle, a government Revenant Rights bill has been passed, allowing the resurrected to find employment…

ROGUE TROOPER // GHOST PATROL
by Alex de Campi (Writer) Neil Edwards (Artist) Matt Soffe (Colourist) Jim Campbell (Letterer)
Nu Earth, site of a galactic war between the Norts and the Southers, where the atmosphere has been rendered poisonous. So the Southers created the Genetic Infantrymen, immune to the pollutants — G.I.s like ROGUE TROOPER, the last of his kind.
