Based on the stars of the cult space opera film, Flash Gordon, released in 1980, three figures are on their way, the latest offering in a wide range of King Features inspired collectibles.
First up, Flash Gordon himself, the hunky hero has come to save the day from the sinister forces of Ming the Merciless! This Ultimate 7″ scale action figure features the likeness of actor Sam Jones and is highly articulated, with three interchangeable heads, interchangeable hands, sword, and rifle accessories.
Next: The sinister Ming the Merciless Ultimate action figure comes straight from the classic 1980 Flash Gordon film! This evil enemy of Flash (played by iconic actor Max von Sydow) stands approximately 7″ tall in his red military uniform and is highly articulated, with three interchangeable heads, interchangeable hands, and sword with sheath.
And finally – shout it loud, folks! – Vultan, the golden-winged prince of Sky City and eventual ally of Flash in his battle against the evil Ming the Merciless! This Ultimate 7″ scale action figure features the likeness of iconic actor Brian Blessed and is highly articulated, with three interchangeable heads, interchangeable hands, mace, crystal, remote control, helmet, and articulated wings.

Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
