Fans of forktail – the band comprising of 2000AD artists Boo Cook and Simon Davis – will be pleased to hear they’re doing a signing and live performance at London’s Orbital Comics on Saturday (11th August), accompanied by musical collaborator Frazer Irving.
The instore signing runs from from 3.00 to 5.00pm, followed by a free, full band performance of tracks from the forktail album released earlier this year, at 8.00pm.
Released via Bandcamp, Forktail is a love letter to all things folk horror/ Wicker Man and ancient ways.
A year and a half in the making, the album also features collaborations with artists Simon Coleby on the album and Frazer Irving in the live band set up. (There’s even a cameo from Alan Moore).
