Garth, Roy of the Rovers – “The Best of British”

Best of British - November 2014The latest issue of Best of British magazine – on sale in newsagents until 29th November – includes features on two top UK comic characters, Garth and Roy of the Rovers.

Written by Ant Jones, the Garth feature, devoted to the Mirror newspaper’s long-running adventure hero, currently being reprinted with colour by Martin Baines, is about the underrated influence that artist John Allard had on the strip.

The magazine also features a Roy of the Rovers and Gerry Anderson Supercar article.
